Welcome to our wedding ceremony. I’m excited to share it with you, my blog readers! It was so incredibly special and, as everyone says, it was over in a snap! I’m super thankful for these photos, songs and memories that I have to keep. Without further ado….
As our guest entered there were two flights of stairs. On the landing of the first flight we used this vintage organ (it’s been hollowed out and we got it for free) as a display piece. There were jars with tea lights, flowers and wedding photos from our family.
The entry and guest book table were decorated with handmade and vintage bird themed decor. I love the quote “Birds Of A Feather Flock Together.” It was perfect for our occasion. There were feathers and birds everywhere, in the flower girl baskets, in people’s hair, boutonnieres, decor and more….
This first song is the song that played as our grandparents, parents, wedding party, flower girls and ring bearer entered the room. It’s one of our favorite Camera Obscura songs.
One of my favorite details was our white feather aisle. The flower girls tossed colored feathers. It was magical!
Before we knew it, I was walking down the aisle with my dad. Our song (above) is one of Jeremy’s favorite songs. He chose it and we both loved it. Since the wedding I’ve only listened to it once, and cried a lot. It’s a beautiful memory.
I kissed my dad, handed both our mothers a pink rose and then the ceremony began…
We said our vows, exchanged rings and only cried a little bit. It was beautiful. The bridesmaids all told me later that they could hear Leigh-Ann sniffling the whole time…. cute!
Emma walked with her pup down the aisle. It was so sweet and adorable. Everyone was gorgeous. I have a very dazed memory of it in my mind, but in these photos it’s much more clear (thank you, Arrow & Apple!)
Our pastor, Adam, pronounced us husband and wife and we were walking down the aisle with blue confetti to the sound on my favorite Queen song. It was a perfect moment. We couldn’t have hoped for more.
If you haven’t seen our wedding film, you can see it here. Also, huge thank you’s to Style Me Pretty for featuring our wedding on their beautiful blog! Photos by Apple & Arrow and our beautiful friend, Kinsey Mhire. Thank you for sharing our special day, Elsie
The comments on this page are covering up half the blog post. I’ve looked on my phone and computer and its the same on both. I don’t know if anyone will read this, but I thought I should say!
Thanks for letting us know!
This bride is so cute, she has the greatest smile in every photograph! Brilliant!!!
I just really love your wedding!
Lovely flower decoration………

Fabulous and really magical moments…
Amazing, found it very intresting and useful x
So romantic and memorable. Perfect! So sad and happy to see this picts.
Congratulations both of you 🙂
This is a unique wedding! The venue totally rocks. It happened in an abandoned building, and the use of different colors was so free. Cheers! You’ll definitely have a wonderful life together. 🙂
