I’m so excited to share the menu and food photos from our wedding reception. Emma and I had so much fun planning all the details. Our wedding was early in the day, so I wanted something with a brunch like theme for the menu. Here’s what we enjoyed…
For cocktail hour we chose four signature drinks and wine. My favorite cocktail is a Raspberry Mojito. We chose that along with a Cherry Mimosa (my invention, you should try it…), Bloody Marys and White Russians (for the boys, of course!) We also had pink champagne for the toast….♥
Next, we had gelato from the cutest local place. The was turkish coffee, raspberry, peanut butter and a few other flavors. They brought this adorable school bus to the wedding. If you look closely, you can see “Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Larson” written on the school bus window. Best part about having them cater the treat is that every time we go there for gelato it will bring back the happiest memories!
For dinner we had heart shaped pancakes and other breakfast-y foods. It was adorable.
The girls helped me make pretty fruit syrups and peanut butter for all the tables. I love peanut butter on my pancakes…
a cute little couple enjoying the wedding reception….
Then we enjoyed the treats. They were extra amazing. Emma packed us a box when we left and we had cupcakes in our hotel room. Raspberry for me. Red Velvet for Mr. Larson.
Thanks for peeking at our menu! It was so much fun to plan. XO, elsie

OMG im in love with so many things about this right now!
first of all, those menus are ADORABLE! did you design those yourself?
second, the peanut butter jars are too much!
and third… breakfast food for dinner?! i think we just became instant friends.
SO great!

I love how you used both of your own creative individualism and really made it your day.

Hi Lauren, Yep. I changed my band before the wedding from white gold to yellow gold. My diamond is 2 carats.
Have fun ring shopping! XO
Hey Elsie! I have a random question about your wedding ring, and you can let me know if you don’t want to answer. I was wondering what is the size of the diamond in your ring because I love the oval shape of it but I’m trying to get an idea of what size diamond would be a good fit for me. Also I’ve been reading your blog for a while and noticed that your ring was silver in the recent pictures after your engagement and now it appears to be gold. Did you change the band? If you’d like to e-mail me to answer my question you can.
Thank you!
Lauren
