Hi guys! I’m enjoying going all out with Halloween decorations this year. I thought it would be fun to make a little ghost family for our entryway. We have quite a few inside jokes around here about our house being haunted (it’s not haunted… don’t worry!) so these guys fit right in.
Supplies needed:
foam balls
lace fabric
black sewing pins
tapestry needle
yarn or twine
Wrap each foam ball in fabric and tie yarn around the neck to secure it . Add pins for the eyes.
Use your tapestry needle to stitch and tie yarn (or twine) to the top of each ghost to hang them.
That’s it! You can make a huge batch for your home in 30 minutes. I hung mine in our entryway along the stairs and all our nieces and nephews think they are awesome.
XOXO. elsie
Made my own party of ghosts to haunt the hallway this Halloween… thanks for the inspiration Elsie

Beautiful Halloween decoration idea. Thanks for that. If you’re looking for a nice activity idea I suggest you try these DIY scratch cards: http://www.winnings.com/blog/fun-stuff/how-to-create-handmade-scratch-cards/10-25-2012/
They’re fairly easy to make, use cheep materials and add a lot to the party.
These are brilliant, such a good simple idea. Thankyou for featuring one of my prints in a post a few months ago, I stupidly have only just realised.
Love love love this! I had to copy after seeing a sneak peek of these earlier this month! I used tennis balls I already had on hand!
Here is a link to some photos of how they turned out:

These remind me of childhood, too. I like the spin of using a pretty lacy fabric. Thanks for the inspiration! (I love your blog, E & E!)
Wow, these look sooooo amazing. I would love to make some lil’ ghosts for myself but I know I would just pee my pants every time I see them hanging in the dark. I’m just too easily scared out. 🙂
I love this idea! I don’t like spiders and gore things, so I go for a cute Halloween decoration (pumpkins, ghosts, black cats), and this diy is perfect 😀
Thanks for sharing!
My older sister made me and my little sister dolls like these a few years ago. So cute!
