Scrapbook Sunday: Playing with the November Messy Box

Scrapbook Sunday Messy Box from A Beautiful Mess. Full of great neutral and metallic cards for documenting the holidaysThis is the time of year for extra memory making, but it's also the time of year for those captured memories to pile up on your phone or camera! I loved that this month's Messy Box had plenty of metallic accents and clean neutrals to mix with both black and white and colored photos. There are even extra font cards so I don't have to spend as much time searching for the perfectly sized alpha stickers!

Neutral and Metallic Scrapbook Sunday Messy Box from A Beautiful MessScrapbook Sunday Messy Box Metallic Foil CardsI printed off some of my favorite photos of my family and edited them to all be black and white since the colors in the images didn't quite all work together. It was an easy way to bring cohesion to the page. They also worked really well with the gray tones and gold foil cards. I added a little bit of journaling and some alpha cards, and I was done!

I printed off a photo of the red leaves in our backyard and added the maple leaf die cut on top but flipped it over so I could use it as a journaling spot. Then I added in photos from a recent trip to see extended family and our almost daily after school ritual of hot chocolate with marshmallows. These little images will be special to look back on in a few years when I've all but forgotten what it was like when these kids were this age.

Scrapbook Sunday Messy Box for the holidaysScrapbook Sunday Messy Box from A Beautiful Mess. Document your favorite holiday memoriesIn about an hour (including printing my photos), I had two scrapbook pages finished and plenty of journaling cards left that I can use for the next round of holidays headed our way! Seriously, the Messy Box kits are such an easy way to keep on top of documenting life without it feeling too overwhelming.

How often do you stop and print your photos off during the holidays? Do you have specific photos that you love to take each year such as a pile of changing leaves or your favorite holiday traditions? –Rachel
