i dreammm about being a mom someday (& i love being an aunt too… but you already knew that!)

Miss angie
*in highschool i listened to miss angie every morning before school…. yes, every single morning. i also crimped my hair because of her… and wore foil stars on my cheeks.

No blow dryer dude
*i can (almost) never finish blow drying my hair…. i can't think of anything more boring in the world.

Rainbow nail polish
*for the past few weeks i've painted my nails pretty much every other day. i could probably sustain a blog for just my nail polish.

Snow white annie leibovitz
*this is my personal favorite annie leibovitz photo shoot… & it's very hard to choose! maybe i'll be snow white next halloween? and suki can be a little apple. :)

*i'm quite sure i'll never love another version of Alice in Wonderland as much as Walt Disney's.

Elsie flannigan
*i'd like to become more patient, less forgetful and more thoughtful as i grow older.

What are some of your secrets? blog them…. i dare you! XO. elsie

  • i had an obsession with stars on my eyes and glitter, but it was because of Marc Bolan from t-rex!!! he was so foxy. great post πŸ™‚

come by Bald People Art blog soon, maybe i will give away my secrets!!!

  • “*i’d like to become more patient, less forgetful and more thoughtful as i grow older. ”

That’s EXACTLY what my Step Mom says I should do. πŸ™‚ Don’t get me wrong, I love my Step Mom and feel truly lucky to have such a wonderful woman in my life, but she’s definitely right.

  • Dare accepted! Thanks for inspiring to share my secrets. It really does feel better to get them out in the open. Check em out if you want (caitlinhomesweethome.blogspot.com)

  • i want a weimeraner so badly. i looove them – or a greyhound. i’m such a dog person.

and i love secrets more than weimeraners. lol.

i’ll have to think of a good one – even better than the rat tail. ha

  • I LOVED Miss Angie, in HS too! I actually have her imported to my iTunes now, and when my screen saver pops on, I get to see that lovely album cover and have millions of memories! wow. ha, anyway! lovely shares, Elsie. you are adorable! <3 <3

  • French Bulldogs are super the cutest! But my gentleman caller does not like them, so probably I will not get one but maybe I will. Also for some reason I thought you went to photography school, did I read that somewhere or did I make it up?

I thought about yoinking this idea for a post on my blog but I don’t think I have any secrets!

  • Elsiee! that’s so funny you listened to miss angie, we were obsesssseedd with her!
she even played at a venue that my parents owned, and wore gold pants.

we also crimped our hair and wore stars on our cheeks to be like her! hahah

  • Wow your photo skills are great it, must come from your own natural born skills as a painter.

*I always loose interest in blowdrying…I get as far as my bangs and then end up leaving the rest to air dry.

Life’s just to short to worry about the back of my head. πŸ™‚

  • What a fun post! I get bored blow drying my hair too, and so does my hair stylist!!! My hair is SO thick and long it takes forever! Suki would make a cute apple, or a dwarf πŸ™‚

  • I love Disney’s Alice and was Snow White for the past two years for Halloween…it was the perfect way to be a princess! πŸ™‚

*btw…my last post was kind of an Alice in Wonderland and Marie Antoinette mashup…

  • Oh, fun!

can i ask , what type of camera do you use? i agree with the alice secret, though im pretty(super)excited to see the new one πŸ™‚

  • oh my gosh Miss Angie, I feel like I was the only one who listened to her. DId you get the stickers with the cd? I remember not wanting to use them until I found something perfect to put them on. I never used them, but no clue as to where they are.

  • Totally love the photo of Emma in the library….so cool!

Maybe I should share some secrets this week….thanks for the idea!

  • I wish I could see my sister everyday too. If I ever figure out how those teleportation skills work I’ll let ya know.

  • Miss Angie was one of my favorites in h.s. too!!!! **my secret…I still love her!!**

  • I share with you the memories of listening to Miss Angie every morning during high school! OMG, I can’t believe there are others out there!… And I had a bad habit of wishing I could put stars under my eyes like her and not look ultra weird, though I think I could pull it off now. πŸ˜‰

  • Wow…I’d completely forgotten about Miss Angie until today. Out of curiosity, I YouTubed her and listened to “Lift My Eyes,” which time-warped me back to my junior high days. Thank you, Elsie!

  • i never finish blow drying my hair either. it’s always the teensiest bit damp when i deem it finished. it *is* a boring task.

  • Aw Elsie! I feel the same about Alice in Wonderland, wore foil stars on my face in HS (even though I don’t know who Ms. Angie is), dream about being a mom and owning a french bulldog too! (they remind me of stitch from Lilo and Stitch!) thanks for sharing as always!

  • Blowdrying is sooooooo boring. I wash my hair at night and sleep on it wet (which I know is inspiring mass amounts of horror from anyone who reads this) and deal the result in the morning.

  • I HATE blow drying my hair. I would do anything to not have to blow dry my hair, what a terribly boring thing to do.

  • I feel like we are kindred spirits when it comes to the blow drying thing. I usually only make it through my bangs before I give up all together. This results in my hair looking like a complete mess almost every day but I say its worth it:)

  • Elsie, I absolutely LOVE that white hat in the second to last photo. Did you (or whoever made it) use a pattern? If so, would you be willing to e-mail it to me?

  • Gillian, That hat is from Forever 21. Sorry to say, i didn’t make it. πŸ™‚ XOXO.

Thanks everyone!! I’m totally shocked & giggling that so many of your connected with these random things! We really do have a lot in common! :)))

  • Loving this post. French bulldogs are so amazingly cute! I totally think you should revive the stars on cheeks thing…!

  • I couldn’t agree with you more on blowdrying! I can’t blow dry my hair without reading something, even though it’s only 10 minutes long.

  • Hmm…I secretly dream of becoming a professional photographer!

And I feel exactly the same way about Alice in Wonderland. I love the original so much! When I was 4, my mom let me pick out my baby sister’s middle name…I, of course, chose “Alice” πŸ™‚

  • Love your camera collection! Have you ever used or have a 3D camera? My mom is a big camera nut and gave me her’s. I need to search to see where I can get the film developed.
The company she used is no longer–:(

I think french bull dogs are so cute and of course I heart Weimeraners because of my fave photographer W. W.

I used some of my new sharpies, ribbon stash and some dies I have never used-:D
    have a great weekend!

  • I’m with ya on the camera issue; all I know is that it’s a Fuji something-or-other, and that it’s a step up from a point and shoot! When it comes to technology, the order of the day is “wing it”!

Ditto on the Frenchies! We have a cocker spaniel, and I adore him, but I’ve always wanted a French Bulldog. My groomer has two, and they are the sweetest sweeties you could ever meet.

  • Here I thought I was the only one to listen to Miss Angie, ha! I like the french bulldogs as well but I think that I just can’t resist getting another pug lol

  • i love the last one, definitely something i want to do. you put it all into one little sentence so nicely.

  • Aww I loved Miss Angie too!! My sister and I grew up with her music. And my sister also wore stars under her eyes lol.

  • Somehow I am not surprised you loved Miss Angie. πŸ™‚ I loved her stuff, too, especially the album you showed. Her video was pretty cool, too. πŸ™‚

  • i loved Miss Angie too. i don’t think i’ve ever heard anyone reference her in the blog world… so wonderful!

  • It doesn’t matter is the rainbow is on a poem, a cake , a draw in the wall, in our hair , in the sky or in any other place is always beautiful to see all those colors.

  • Two isolated fossilized footprints have been tentatively assigned to Tyrannosaurus rex. The first was discovered at Philmont Scout Ranch, New Mexico, in 1983 by American geologist Charles Pillmore. Originally thought to belong to a hadrosaurid, examination of the footprint revealed a large ‘heel’ unknown in ornithopod dinosaur tracks, and traces of what may have been a hallux, the dewclaw-like fourth digit of the tyrannosaur foot.

  • awesome post ! i love reading these things for some reason lol
I have a cat named Suki πŸ™‚ Did you know it means beloved in japanese !

  • I’m obsessed with photography, I could see diversity of styles there, but I think it could be so much better, next time I’ll put some interesting photos about my project.

  • I really thank to one who wrote this article. I have always been reading and writing texts like this in blogs. Also, I, as a daily writer, present my respects to everyone. I just watched videos like this in research in all areas.1
