Every year I try to come up with a new cute/clever advent calendar. My kids love the little gifts and activities, so it’s not really necessary, but I definitely get a kick out of seeing the magic a new advent calendar year brings. Cheesy? Sure. When it comes to my daughters, I’m all cheese. Anyway, as we’re getting more and more years behind us, coming up with new concepts can be challenging. I’ve had this idea for a DIY scratch-off something in my back pocket for a while now, so I figured this was the perfect opportunity to use it!

-paper snowflakes
-cardstock
-dish soap
-metallic paint and paintbrush
-circular punch
-shapes or numbers stamps and ink pad
-small boxes and wrapping paper
-craft glue

I don’t if you still check this site . . . but did you use different sized snowflakes, or all the same? And about what size did you use?
Absolutely fantastic I hope mine looks 50℅ as beautiful as yours!
Great diy!

What a fantastic idea, Katie! I wish it wasn’t just my husband and I and we had a larger family to share it with. Or maybe, I can use this to my advantage?!
That looks so cool, what a cute idea!
