Christmas Napkin Iron-On DIY (With Printable!)

There are so many things that could be your favorite part of Christmas—the presents, the snowy weather, the family and friends, the treats … I could go on and on! While I do love all those things, one of my favorite traditions is the Christmas Eve dinner that we do with my family. We always have a special meal that we eat (fried shrimp and this delicious potato side dish) and it’s always the highlight of my trip to sit around and eat with my family after we’ve been apart for a while. No matter what your Christmas food traditions are, there’s always room to add a little fun project into your tablescape. This year, I partnered with our friends at Canon USA to create a set of cute Christmas napkins to jazz up the table and I think it’s the perfect addition! Supplies:
–iron-on T-shirt transfer paper
–Canon PIXMA TS8120 printer
–white napkins
-scissors
-iron
–holiday napkin printable

Download the napkin printable and print the design onto your transfer paper. One thing I love about my Canon PIXMA TS8120 is how well it handles colors for both photo projects and craft projects like this! For a transfer project, it’s important that the colors are consistent and this printer handles all the details of an image perfectly. Once your designs are printed, use your scissors to cut out your decals, leaving an 1/8″ of white border around the design. Follow the transfer paper instructions to iron your decal onto the bottom of your folded white napkin. Allow the decal to cool completely and then peel off the backing to reveal the design underneath. Repeat until you have adhered all your decals. Style your napkins with some festive plates and some pretty gold silverware, and you’re ready for the holidays! Yay! I think that little car is the perfect touch of vintage fun to add some charm to any Christmas table. You can also iron that cutie car onto stockings, Christmas pajamas, a tree skirt, or just about any item that needs some holiday cheer! Now, if I can only get a real pink car like that to bring me my Christmas tree … maybe next year?? xo. Laura
