Making fun things for Lola’s nursery is one of my joys in life. Kid stuff always feels like it can be more whimsical and fun and you can do just about whatever you want! We have some pastel rainbow toys in Lola’s room (and she has a rainbow in her painted wallpaper as well) and so I thought a ribbon rainbow wall hanging would be a good compliment to the other cute pieces she already has!
-white felt balls, large and medium
-white foamcore board
-X-Acto knife and cutting mat
-hot glue gun
-ribbons in rainbow colors (I think grosgrain ribbon works the best for this)
–glue on jewelry bails, jump rings, gold chain, and jewelry kit

Love all the colours! Was wondering where you got the wall decals?

Oh gosh, using the wool balls to diffuse oils is brilliant! I am such a sucker for anything rainbow, I love this idea!
This is so cute, I always love kids room decor and like to incorporate it into my adult interiors – I mean it is too cute not to right! I will definitely be giving this pretty DIY a go, maybe in more muted colours, can’t wait!

Ahh this is adorable! I love the gold touch you placed on the rainbow. <3 This looks very easy to make but still a terrific, cute idea for kids' decor. I think if they were at least 6 or 7 they can totally help out in making it!
Lovely idea, as always. Have a nice week! xx
