Welcome to this month’s beauty box: Tools of the Trade!! We have a few great tools for you in this box, and you’ll get to try them out with the other products included! If you’re unfamiliar with Oui Fresh and the Beauty Box, it’s the “clean beauty” side of A Beautiful Mess. Each month, you’ll get a curated box of five items sent to you, and all are held to our clean beauty standards. We feature a lot of great indie and boutique brands as well—something we are very proud of! If you’re ready to subscribe, click here!
Here’s what’s inside this month’s box:
Evolvh Smart Start Leave-In Conditioner — (value $11)
If you’re looking for a leave-in conditioner that does it all (strengthens hair, tames frizz, and protects from heat tool and UV damage), this is going to be a treat for your locks. Spray all over evenly damp strands (towel dried), and then let it sit about a minute before you start your styling routine.
Special Offer — Get a 15% discount at Evolvh with code OUIFRESH, one use per customer, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.
HAN All Natural Eye Shadow in Celebrate — (value $15)
This pink beige with a light shimmer really does make us want to celebrate. It’s such a beautiful brow bone highlight (the area of your eyelid right under your brow) for those with deeper skin tones, or as an all over base for fairer tones. This could also be used as a lovely highlight for deeper skin tones. We love that HAN’s eyeshadow is free of talc and has such nice pigment.
Special Offer — Get 15% off your next purchase of full-sized products from HAN with code OUISPRING19. Can be used from April 15 to May 31.
Aisling Organics Pro Tool Dual-Ended Shadow Brush — (value $18)
The perfect accompaniment to your HAN Celebrate eyeshadow, this brush is of course cruelty-free, ultra soft, and makes your eyeshadow look amazing! One side of the brush is a dense dome for applying shadow near your lashline or stamping into your crease. The other fluffy side helps to blend it out perfectly.
Gua Sha Massage Stone — (value $30)
You may have noticed gua sha having a huge moment right now. You can use this little rose quartz beauty for so many things, but our favorite beauty application is using it to massage and stimulate skin after you’ve applied your favorite hydration product (you can use the beauty oil in this box!). It can help remove toxins, aid in lymphatic drainage, and stimulate healthy blood flow, all of which help your skin to turn over cells more quickly and leave you glowing. The chart below can guide you on how to use the stone.
Directions: Apply a dime-sized amount of beauty oil to face (or a similar hydrating product). Follow the numbers and the direction of the arrows on the chart. We like to do 3-5 (light pressure) strokes per area, except the forehead where we do 6-10.
