At Home with Lindsey Bonnice in Pennsylvania

At Home with Lindsey BonniceSo cute!Pillows/Live Sweet Shop

So pumped about this home tour! When we received Lindsey’s submission, we were completely smitten with her bright, pastel decor (that mint kitchen!) and all of her adorable pets. She has two dogs, two cats, a rabbit, tortoise, two pigs, and two goats — yes!!!

Cozy living roomKids room“We have lived in our home just over two years now. We built our house on the lake and land I grew up on in a small town in Northeastern PA. We live next door to my parents, which is so wonderful for the kids, and we spend lots of our time playing in the woods and down by the water with all of our fuzzy critters!

Pure joy TreatsLots of our items are vintage and found at flea markets and thrift stores. I also do a lot of shopping at Home Goods for fun eclectic pieces. Lots of my favorite pillows come from our shop Live Sweet Shop, and I’m always hunting on Etsy for other handmade goods.

My husband loves to cook and I love to bake, so one or the other of us is almost always in the kitchen while the other is playing with the kids in the living room.

Since we designed and built the house and got to have a hand in each little piece, it immediately felt like home to me. I work hard to make sure that our house is not only pretty but also functional and comfy for my kids. We don’t go out a lot, so our home is our haven and where we spend most of our time. It’s lived in and gets messy on a daily basis, but it’s filled with laughter, love and lots of memories already, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!”

Thanks for sharing your home with us, Lindsey! You can find more of Lindsey via Live Sweet Blog and Instagram.

  • I can’t get over the sweetness of this house and family. Her gorgeous kids, her beautiful home, and those pets!!! How are people able to have pigs and goats as house pets?! I have always wanted them and have no idea how this works in a practical sense. This family and home is my #squadgoals in a nutshell.

  • LOVE the aqua U have used all over the house! its my very favorite color and seeing how U have used it inspires me!

  • The refrigerator is by North Star. It’s a Canadian company but they sell to the US. The animals aren’t all babies anymore but I had these sweet shots of them in the house when they were so I had to share! Most of them do get along great! The dog isn’t allowed alone with the bunny unattended but she doesn’t bother her when they are together and we are around. She has a very gentle nurturing nature to her!! I hope someday all your animal dreams come true! They’re lots of work but also tons of fun and full of love!! Xo Lindsey

  • Oh! That refrigerator! Who makes that wonderful refrigerator?!
Your house is adorable, as is your family. SO adorable! And you have an unerring eye for decor. No lie.
All of your 4 legged animals look so young- did you just get them all? Do they get along famously? Does your mini schnauzer chase the bunnies? (I’m afraid ours would. He’s serious that way.)
I have wanted goats for years- and pigs are super smart! And bunnies…dogs…kittens…lambs…
