Very Berry Cosmopolitan

Blueberry cosmo recipeHow to make the perfect cosmoAfter making a few of these the other day I wondered why we don't make cosmopolitans more? Most cosmos are made from vodka, triple sec, juice and a little lime. What's not to love? This particular recipe highlights pomegranate blueberry juice and a pretty garnish.Ingredient list for the perfect cosmoVerry Berry Cosmopolitan, makes one

1 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce Chambord liqueur
1/2 ounce Triple Sec
1 1/2 ounces Pomegranate Blueberry juice (or any berry juice you prefer)
1 generous sqeeze of fresh lime juice

Combine all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker (or mason jar) and shake it up.Edible flowers!Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a few berries and/or an edible flower. We purchased a package of edible flowers from the herb section at a local grocery store. If you don't purchase your flowers from a grocer be sure to do some research to ensure the safety of your flower choice.Easy to make cosmo recipeHappy cocktail making! xo. Emma + Elsie

  • oh my gosh! you can buy edible flowers at the grocery store?! thats a thing! i am going to have to go to central market or whole foods and try to find them!

    this is way too precious!

  • I wish I was more into alcohol, since a glass of wine with dinner is healthy. But whenever I do finally have a small drink, it needs to be super sweet & this looks like it’ll make the cut!

  • Unless you grow your own flowers (and know that they aren’t sprayed) or you buy them from the grocer sold as ‘edible’ flowers, don’t use any that are sold as decorative bouquets (even those in the grocery store). Cut flowers are often heavily sprayed with pesticides that aren’t safe to eat, simply because they don’t expect anyone to eat them.

  • i don’t drink alcohol. i know, i’m weird. but i adore how you stuck a white flower in with the berries as decoration. i’ll take that idea for the next party i host! 🙂

    love, x
