February Book Club Selection

Eleanor and ParkJust wanted to let you all know what we’ll be reading for February in the A Beautiful Mess Book Club. Be sure to pick up or check out your copy of Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell. I’ve had this book recommended a few times to me this past year and I thought it might be a perfect pick for February. I’ve also heard that it’s a rather fast read, so if you’ve been on the fence about joining in the book club because you think you’re too busy to read a book, well, this might be the perfect month for you. 🙂

And don’t forget, we’ll be discussing Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil with Joy Wilson on January 31st. xo. Emma

P.S. Can you tell from this photo what my current favorite snacks are?

  • I would love to be a part of this book club. Buying the book now. Do you know when the discussion will be? Will it be on twitter?

  • Oh my gosh, this is the first time you’ve done book club for a book I just happen to be currently reading! What a lucky coincidence for me 😀 I meant to read this book a loooong time ago, but it was always checked out of all the libraries I went to: my high school library, my college library, the public library. I’m already a few chapters in and I wish I didn’t have to put it down! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

  • I’m doing a reading challenge in 2015 and I think this one is going to be my “book everyone has read but you”!
Great choice again Emma, love that this feature is continuing this year!

  • How exciting! I’ll join you guys this month. 🙂
I don’t know what this book is about, or if is a romance, a drama or a biography.
Reading the comments I don’t know what expect either. Most of people loved the book, but some don’t look so sure about it.

As a suggestion, maybe you guys can write the synopses of the book of the month in the end of next posts. This way we can know a little bit about it 😉
Unless people prefer the surprise. Who knows?

  • I judge a book by its cover. I’m sorry. But this looks amazing. I read a review by John Green and I am always so afraid to read books like this because love stories really get to me. I haven’t even read The Fault In Our Stars! But I may give it a chance. 🙂
