Filmm 3.0 is Here!!!

Hi, friends! Today, we are SO excited to announce Filmm 3.0 for iOS! This is our biggest Filmm update yet, and we can’t wait to get these new features in your hands. First, a quick video to introduce it, and then we’ll go into more detail on some really special additions.

As you may have noticed in the video, Filmm 3.0 has a whole new look! We’ve expanded the main menu on the bottom to include a scrolling bar and designated sections for different parts of the app. Filters, Effects, Frames, and Transitions each have their own icons now, so you’ll be able to find what you’re looking for faster to create a seamless editing process.

Looks is a whole new section we’re introducing to the app, which we’ve been working on for months under the radar!! We are so excited it’s finally here. Looks offers one-tap professional edits, and it’s amazing because it takes all the guesswork out of creating a cool video. This section will add on-trend filters, effects, frames and transitions for you, and it gives you the option to adjust it to your liking. It’s honestly perfect for that quick memory you want to share instantly, which we’re all about.

Edit Clips now offers a Split option, so you can split your video and add different filters or effects without losing any part of the clip. It’s so nice!! The Cut option is available in this section, too, and that’s where you’ll be able to remove anything from the middle of your video. Trim, of course, allows you to trim the beginning or end of the video to your liking!

We’ve done a lot of work in the Sound section of the app, too, and you now have the ability to add multiple songs, loop your music, and cut clips to the beat of the song you’re editing with. Cut-to-beat is a game changer!!

We can’t wait to hear what you think of Filmm 3.0, and we truly hope you love it. You can find us on our Instagram, and share your edits using the hashtag #filmm.

  • I absolutely love everything about this app! Thank you so much for such a high quality product.

Question, as a YouTube content creator, am I able to use the music within your app in my YouTube videos without a copyright claim? I plan to use small clips made through Filmm, but do not want to risk a copyright claim on my channel. Thank you!
