I’m a huge dork, but you already knew that. When I saw these awesome plaster skulls for sale at Michael’s the first idea that came to mind was, “OMG- David Bowie face paint.”
This project is 100% just for fun. Those are sometimes the best kind, huh?
I don’t have a ton of Halloween decorations yet, so maybe this will be the start of a new collection? I want to become one of those old ladies with a bunch of Tupperware containers full of decor for every single holiday. Yes, that’s a good goal. 😀 Happy Saturday to you! xo. Elsie
P.S. Our friend Laura made some awesome bookends with this very same skull. They’re pretty much the coolest thing ever. Don’t you think?

Where did Bowie suddenly pop into your head when you saw that skull?! That’s a pretty fantastic leap of creativity if I do say so myself!
Helen mentioned the Bowie exhibit that just ended in London, but I think it’s touring because there’s a huge Bowie exhibit in Toronto now. Maybe it’ll head your way soon?
David Bowie – My first concert with a girlfriend. We were madly in love with him and his music. Still awesome 40 years later.
Only you ladies could make a skull look cool.
Haha! Well, happy to surprise you then. 😀

Very surprised to see this. Bowie doesn’t exactly fit in with the whimsical, twee, magical world you inhabit!
Jeremys musical influence, perhaps?

Ha that’s ace 🙂 It’s a shame you’re not in the UK. There was recently a huge David Bowie exhibition at the Victoria and Albert museum in London. I’m sure you would have been very inspired by it!
