Our Wedding Invitations

I’m happy as can be that my wedding invitations arrived yesterday! I’m scurrying to get them all ready to mail out tomorrow. I originally intended to DIY my invitations. I had a killer design, but decided I’d rather save it for a wedding shower I’m hosting later this summer and save myself a million hours. My wedding DIY list is pretty insane already and it was fun to be able to support some talented Etsy.com sellers. These record invitations are from Ello There on and the custom stamp we are using on the back is from Kozue.

Funny coincidence, the day that I really need to send off my invitations (tomorrow) a. postage prices are going up and b. it’s tax day (oh my!). It’s ok… I’m thrilled with how they turned out and I’m enjoying addressing every last one myself.

(eek…. here’s what I have to address and stamp tonight and tomorrow! good thing I have Audrey Hepburn to keep me company.)

  • Hello everyone! Immanent Gorgon here and I’m ok. My new posts at my new blog will exipaln why I went “poof.” I’m ashamed of “poofing” out, but have returned renewed and refreshed at my new blog. I hope to see you all there and here.

  • Divah’s Mommy Posted on And it is finally here!!! The site looks great Leslie, I can’t wait to read your posts in the days to come, don’t short cnhage us now, we want ALLL the details, oh and don’t forget the natural hair tips too! -Dre’Chelle

  • So no games are on versus??? That would be great news. I live in bulffao and have center ice i should have all the games on there. It would be terrible if they were on versus. even if you dislike mich and rosen you cant dislike them enough to like vs.

  • This is one of the first books on weddings that does NOT talk about the fweolrs, the dresses, the food, etc. This book focuses on one thing and does it well; your entertainment at your reception.Yes, I will admit that I work as a mobile DJ and entertain at weddings and am somewhat biased on the entertainment part of the reception. But as such, I have seen many Brides and Grooms who focus so much time an energy on the visual aspects of the reception (linens, colors, fweolrs) and not the entertainment so that they don’t seem to have fun at their own reception. If you read this book and take from it what you want, then you will have a better chance of having fun at your reception.

  • Hi digital has opeend up a whole new world of opportunity both on the wedding day itself and in post-processing afterwards. The instant preview of digital does make things easier, but limitless film does mean you need to keep a close eye on the number of images you take! Thanks for the wedding wishes, until we book a date and a venue I can’t book a photographer I just know it won’t be me!

  • Sadly before the ivtnneion of photography, but there are some fine engravings relating to the Gordon Riots, the Priestly (Church and King) Riots, Luddite Riots, Wilkite Riots, and many others. Some of these were very bloody indeed.

  • Danette Fisher – Andrea and Renata, the pictures are ablseutloy stunning! I was crying at how beautifully you captured their wedding day. (I can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures). You two are right where you belong! Your courteousness and professionalism were just as impeccable as your work. Thank you!!!

  • $5 a piece?!?!?! You were getting ripepd off to begin with!!I looked around and found a lot of places that had invites for around $1 each. I like your suggestion and you should definitely tell other brides about that when they are looking for low-cost invites.were a few that I looked at. Yes definitely have them send you a sample one but I loved my invites. They were exactly what I wanted. If you are having a small wedding of less than 50 people of course you can make them yourself. But if you are making a lot of invites (I think I ordered 250) it is cheaper to order than to make them yourself.I think RSVP by phone is a smart idea especially since you’d have to call those that didn’t RSVP anyway.

  • These are all very beautiful, I like very much
