  • The cafe with the swings looks so cute! I visited New York 4 years ago and loved it, although I only spent 3 days in the city and didn’t get to see half of the things that were on my list. Next time I visit, I’ll definitely check out the cupcake store!
Do you have any thrift store recommendations for NY?

  • I adored your Big Apple glasses! I used to be an Astoria gal myself, so I loved the city reminders, those quaint corners where cupcakes rule, great inspiration lurks around each new bend, and when Mary clicks her heels up over the audiences head! Cheers to a wonderful week;)

  • I saw Mary Poppins on broadway last year. It was a must see for me, as it is one of my top two fave children’s movies EVER! I’m so very jealous of your trip to Magnolia! I just bought one of their cookbooks at a thrift shop for $2 and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since.

  • Thanks for the blog tips – I’m saving to hire a freckled nest genius 🙂

  • mmmm. This post brought back really good memories for me. My husband and I used to travel to NYC quite a bit when we lived in Virginia. My brother used to live in the city and it was so easy to drive and stay at his place and peruse the city at our leisure! Now we live in Portland, Oregon, so sadly we do not get there often! We too loved Mary Poppins on Broadway!

  • I have been looking everywhere for GAP perfume. I’ve loved Dream since Tenth Grade! Where did you find it if you don’t mind telling me? PLEASE!

Those pastry shops you mentioned are now on my list of places to satisfy a sweet tooth. Would it be possible to list some of the other places you shopped and ate (& drank). I love taking recommendations because they shuffle me around different parts of the city and guarantee a treat.
