Tie headband La hb gla This is a 6 week class by Elsie Flannigan and Leigh-Ann Keffer. We are teaching this class together. Rachel Denbow is also contributing 3 projects to this class (Rachel normally co-teaches my classes with me, but she is taking some time off to be with her newborn daughter for the next few months :D). There are also 10 style feature guest bloggers in who are featured throughout the class. They share style secrets and give interviews full of personal style tips! Some of our very favorite bloggers and designers are featured! take a look…

Style feature round The class will begin January 10th and run for six weeks. There are a total of 30 projects in the class that focus on style in the following areas; Art/Craft, Wardrobe, Home Decor and Life. There is also a Style File binder project that begins as soon as you register (it’s the most fun ‘homework’ ever) and lasts throughout the entire class. It’s full of fun assignments to help discover and develop your unique personal style!

This class is hosted on a private blog and includes downloadable PDFs for all projects that require patterns and all printable worksheets for the style file. We will host 3 live chats on the private blog as well as a live video chat with Elsie and one with Leigh-Ann!

Class fee is $60 US (or about $2 per project!).

Please note:

When you sign up for the class you will receive login information for the private blog within 24 hours. There is already Style File Homework waiting for you there as well as a chat space for classmates to get to know each other! Plus, earlybird students receive a bonus project by pdf through email!

-This is not a kit. You will receive supply lists before the class begins. Class supplies are inexpensive, many of which you probably already own! 🙂

-We have a limited number of spots. We will be keeping the class small enough to communicate with each student and create a warm and personal atmosphere.

-The sample projects that you see in these blog posts and in our ads are the only photos we will be posting to the public from the class. We keep the class projects and photos exclusive!

I like your new blog header. Cutecute.

  • elsie,

met you at the renegade craft fair in chicago, and have loved your blog ever since. i am SO excited for the class!

  • Betsey, This class has a lot less sewing projects than my previous classes. All can be easily completed with hand stitching if you don’t own a machine. XO.

Erica, You don’t need to have a blog.

Thank you, everyone, for the kind words!!! 🙂 elsie

  • Love the new banner! I really want to sign up for this one after reading the project list! Do we have to pay straight away (I get paid at the end of this week, but don’t want to miss out!)

  • Hey there all! I just signed up as well, can’t wait. What a burst of inspiration this will be!!

  • I just signed up! Well, my mom bought it for me, I hope that doesn’t screw anything up, haha. But anyway, I’m so excited! I can’t wait. 😀

  • Hi Elsie! Today I found this cute video and it reminded me of you, in a fun and artsy way. I hope you like it, and maybe even enough to put it on your blog to share with everyone because I know they would love it too! The only problem is, you have to go on my blog to view it. Please take the time and look. Thanks! Have a super wonderful Thanksgiving.

  • oh, i really wish i could take this! the right before the holidays timing is not friends with my wallet. i’ll for sure be looking out for future classes, though!

  • hi Elsie, I’m Linh and I come from Vietnam. I’m so excited with your projects. But i wonder how can i take it ??

  • i’ve signed up too and am really looking forward to it, it will be such a welcome break from all the dull dull final year uni work i have this year. i’ve been following you for a while elsie from the uk and have found so much inspiration and happiness from your work.

  • I’d really love to take this class but there’s no way I would be able to find time to do it.

Will it run more than once or will this be it?

  • Are the classes at a set time? I have 5 kids but could do it while they are in school. I didn’t read anywhere that I needed to be online at certain times. Waiting with $60 to purchase but need to know!! Thanks!

  • Q: hi Elsie, I’m Linh and I come from Vietnam. I’m so excited with your projects. But i wonder how can i take it ??
A: Anyone in the world can take this class as long as you have reliable internet and you can understand english (since the class blog is written in english). 🙂 I’ve had lots of international students in the past and I loveee them!

Q: Will it run more than once or will this be it?
A: Actually, I usually only run my classes one time. I’ve never repeated a class twice. It’s unlikely, but possible that we will repeat this one. XOXO.

Q: Are the classes at a set time? I have 5 kids but could do it while they are in school. I didn’t read anywhere that I needed to be online at certain times. Waiting with $60 to purchase but need to know!! Thanks!
A: These are no set times except the chats, which are archived (so if you miss it, you can still read or watch it later!). Projects are posted every few days and you follow along at your own pace! The class blog stays posted for a full year after the class, also, to give time to go back and retry projects if you missed something due to time! XO.

  • Hey there, this is going to sound really bizarre.
I’ve signed up and paid for the class through payapl. (yesterday yipee!) and I saw a message from you Elsie in my inbox, but when I click it, it sadly dissapears. I have my spamblockers disabled so I know this is not the problem.

This happened yesterday and today, I’m wondering how I can remedy this because I really don’t want to miss out on anything I should know about for the class. I’m not really sure what to do, I’ve emailed you as well. Is anyone else experiencing these difficulties?

  • Hi Elsie. I’m a big fan of your blog and you’re a big inspriration to me. i would love to attend the class, I’ll just see if i can conjure up $60 US since i do live in Canada. ♥♥

  • hey! i signed up last week, but never received the email? im just dying to get started!! my husband chris chesbro signed up for me if the name helps find the registration. thanks!! super excited!!!

  • I REALLY want to take this class! It sounds like a blast! One major question though: Do I have to know how to sew in order to do the projects? I am very creative, but I have minimal sewing experience… Is this okay, or will the projects be too difficult for me to complete? Thank you <33

  • I just signed up, woohoo! I assume the info will be emailed through the paypal account email, since registration never asked for one…?
