Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Tequila
  • 1 cup Ginger Beer or fill to top
  • ½ Lime
  • 1 slice Orange
  • 5 Mint Leaves

Instructions

  • The best way to serve a Mexican Mule is in a copper mug. Fill your mug with ice.
  • Squeeze the juice of half a lime over the ice.
  • Add two ounces of tequila.
  • Top it off with ginger beer.
  • Garnish with an orange slice and mint leaves.

Notes

Drinking from a chilled copper mug is a joyful sensory experience and it adds to the experience of the cocktail. It’s important to note that the mug must be 100% copper to turn ice cold.
If you like a sweeter cocktail, feel free to add up to one ounce of simple syrup or agave for added sweetness.
