Roasted Green Beans

How to make the best oven roasted green beans, a delicious and healthy side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon flaky sea salt
  • 1 lemon

Instructions

  • Prepare the green beans by trimming off the ends and any stems that may still be attached.
  • Place on a baking sheet in one layer. 
  • Drizzle in the olive oil and toss so all pieces get coated. 
  • Sprinkle the sea salt over the top.
  • Roast at 425°F for 15-18 minutes. 
  • Squeeze lemon juice over the roasted green beans just before serving.

Notes

  • When trimming off the ends, you can snap them off by hand, but to make this work faster I will line up a bunch at once and simply cut off the ends with a sharp knife.
