Cookie Dough Dip

A no-bake Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip recipe.

Equipment

  • 1 stand mixer or hand mixer

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 pinch salt optional

Instructions

  • I recommend using a stand mixer or a hand mixer for this recipe. Without one of these, it’s difficult to achieve a smooth dip—and smooth is what we want!
  • In a bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, whipped topping and cocoa powder. Optional: I like to add a pinch of sea salt!
  • Whip the ingredients together on medium speed until completely smooth.
  • Add your chocolate chips to the mixture, saving a few to sprinkle on the top. Mix the chocolate chips in at low speed. Next, transfer the dip to a small bowl and top with more chocolate chips.
  • Serve surrounded by dipping options.

Notes

  • Use a stand mixer or hand mixer to achieve a very smooth dip (no lumps allowed!).
  • In addition to chocolate chips, you can mix some crushed cookies into your dip if you like.
  • Most recipes include butter, but I tried it without and it isn’t necessary at all.
