Virgin Mojito

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • 10 mint leaves
  • cups club soda
  • cups ice

Instructions

  • In the bottom of your glass, muddle together half the mint leaves, lime juice and simple syrup. Crush the leaves gently to release a minty essence.
  • Add ice to your glass.
  • Top the glass off with club soda.
  • Serve with a straw and more mint leaves and lime slices as a garnish. Enjoy!

Notes

    • A non-alchoholic liquor is not necessary. Unlike many mocktail recipes, simply omitting the rum is enough to create an equally delicious virgin cocktail.
    • Always buy extra limes when making lime juice as they can sometimes be a bit dry.
    • Fresh mint leaves are an essential ingredient and there really is no substitute, so make this recipe when you have fresh mint leaves available.
