Instructions

  • Start by washing and peeling the sweet potatoes. Ensure they are dry before moving on to the next step.
  • Cut the sweet potatoes into long, thin strips resembling the shape of fries. Make sure the strips are relatively uniform in size to ensure even cooking.
  • Place the sweet potato fries in a large bowl and drizzle them with olive oil. Toss the fries gently to coat them evenly.
  • Then, season with salt and pepper and any other spices you want to use.
  • Arrange the seasoned sweet potato fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding the basket to allow proper airflow and crispy results.
  • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 14-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
  • Serve the fries immediately while they are still hot and crispy.

Notes

  • You can add more spices like paprika or garlic powder, if you like. Also, if you have any fresh herbs like chives or cilantro, this can add a nice pop of green and more flavor, but it’s not necessary.
