Ingredients

  • ½ cup white candy melts
  • 1 teaspoon green food dye
  • ½ cup eyeball sprinkes
  • 3 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup popcorn green
  • Halloween candy for garnish

Instructions

  • Begin by microwaving the candy melts in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until they are fully melted. Next, add green food dye and mix until you have achieved your perfect slime green color.
  • Next, use a spoon to add green chocolate to the outside of a glass to resemble slime oozing out from the glass. While the chocolate melts are still hot, add as many candy eyeballs as you can fit. Do this twice for two glasses.
  • To make the milkshake, blend your ice cream, milk and more green food dye in a blender until it is very smooth. Pour the milkshake into two glasses.
  • To garnish, add some green popcorn to the top of your milkshake, a straw and some Halloween candies arranged on a cocktail pick.

Notes

  • Halloween milkshakes are a great chance to get creative! I like milkshakes that are a big presentation and over the top with garnishes, so go wild.
  • Halloween is the best time of year for candy. Choose a variety of funny, novelty candies. I love these monster lollipops.
  • I only buy white chocolate melts for making colors because it’s so much easier (and creates less waste) than buying individually colored candy melts.
