Blackberry Cilantro Margarita

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • blackberries fresh
  • juice of one lime
  • cilantro fresh
  • sea salt
  • honey

Instructions

  • First, prepare your glass by brushing the outside of the rim in honey and rolling it in coarse sea salt.
  • In a shaker, combine the tequila, Cointreau, simple syrup, 8 fresh blackberries, juice of one lime, and 6-8 sprigs of fresh cilantro cut or chopped into small pieces.
  • Use a muddler to crush the blackberries into the shaker til it's all just one, big, mushy mess.
  • Add ice and shake-shake-shake! Strain your drink into your glass with ice.
