Orange Creamsicle Jello Shots

Servings 24

  • 3 large oranges
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup whipped cream or vanilla vodka
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 1/4 cup vanilla ice cream melted
  • 1 small box Jell-O

  1. First you'll want to cut the oranges in half and remove the orange sections from the orange peel. You can do this either by scooping them out with a spoon or using a handheld juicer to first juice the orange as much as possible and then scoop out any remaining orange. Just be careful not to dig down too deep and make a hole in your peel—all your jello will leak out the bottom if you do!
  2. Boil your water on the stove and stir in your packet of orange jello until it dissolves. Add in your vodka, triple sec, ice cream and stir to combine. Pour into a measuring cup or some other container with a spout. Place your hollowed out orange halves in a muffin tin to keep them stable, and pour in your jello mixture to the top of each orange half.
  3. Place your oranges in the fridge for a few hours until they are firm. Slice each half into four quarters, and you're ready to serve! You can either serve these all on a plate together or in individual shot glasses with a rim of sugar around the top.
