This past week, Elsie and I went on a quick sister trip to Florida, partly to celebrate my birthday and partly just to escape the winter for a little bit. It was wonderful. We saw friends, walked by the ocean, shopped for books, and ate lots of delicious food. Everyone was teasing me to take a baby bump photo by one of these signs while we were walking around looking at houses and obviously it turned out so good I had to share it with you. 🙂 Here are 10 things I’ve been loving lately.
1. Shared how to paint leather a few years ago when I painted these leopard Birkenstock sandals and as you can see in this photo they are holding up well!
2. I read The Dead Romantics while on our trip and loved it. Very fun and different.
3-5. At the bookstore we visited I bought The Land of Lost Things, The Golden Enclaves and Red, White & Royal Blue. I really don’t need more books, but it’s books—it’s OK to buy too many, I say.
6. I love this top coat (nail polish). I am 99% sure I bought it from a commenter recommendation and they were right, it works great.
7. I got a mini version of this CEO Afterglow moisturizer in my beauty advent calendar and I loved it so much (and used it all) I’ve already bought more.
8. For years, I have used these makeup wash cloths and they are excellent. I usually take one when I travel too just in case they don’t have them. I hate getting makeup all over a white towel.
9. Valentine’s Day is coming up, so if you need a gift Askinosie chocolate is still my all-time favorite.
10. It’s tea season, so just in case you forgot, this is the best cinnamon tea ever. Super flavorful and delicious.
P.S. Here are some recent posts in case you missed them!

Love Seche Vite – it is THE best!! I was super super into nail polish/nail art like 10-15 years ago and Seche was the gold standard among early nail bloggers. lol. I honestly don’t think it can be beaten!
