I’ve been dreaming about this cocktail for quite a while, but I was just waiting for Spring to finally arrive. This drink is perfect to sip on the porch at night, or serve at a backyard barbecue. If you like sweet tea, give this recipe a try!
Mango + Plum Sweet Tea Cocktail, Serves One
3 ounces rooibos tea
2 ounces fresh orange juice
1 ounce bourbon (I used Bulleit)
2 ounces Jeremiah Weed Sweet Tea Vodka
plum and mango, cut into cubes
Mix tea, orange juice, bourbon and sweet tea vodka in a short glass. Add cubes of fruit and serve with ice. Optional: garnish with fresh mint leaves
I can tell this cocktail will be one of my new spring/summer favorites. It’s sweet (but not too sweet), fruity and refreshing. I think it would be fun to try a mixed berry version next!
I made a larger batch to store in my fridge overnight. It’s a great way to allow the flavors to infuse more. I love having ready-made cocktails for parties too. It saves so much time to have a few options that guests can serve themselves!
Are you a sweet tea fan? xo. Elsie
Lovely use of plums! Would you be happy to link it in to the new Food on Friday which is all about plums? This is the link . I do hope to see you there. Cheers
Seems really delish! Gonna try this out 🙂 Thanks for sharing <3
oh sweet Elsie! as a pregnant lady i can only dream of such a lovely drink…i was wondering if you could whip up a fancy “virgin” drink for us non (or unable to) drinkers? 🙂
That looks so delicious and refreshing.
Perfect! My boyfriend and I are making once a day a new fresh juice, and yes…yesterday we mixed black tea with blended fruit, it was soo tasty…we should try this recipe soon!

Although this looks weird, just the fact of having mangos in it, intrigues me. So it’s a definite on things I want to try. Thanks from 3girls1apple.com

Looks like an absolute treat and a serious rival to Pimms! Is it not too sticky or will the alcohol counteract that? The Gent http://www.twentyfirstcenturygent@blogspot.com
Great looking cocktail. Can’t wait to be sipping it on the deck while entertaining good friends.
