Last year we shared our favorite Spiced Chai recipe and this year we thought, "Why not make a cocktail version?" Plus, little known fact, Jeremy and I shared a spiked chai drink on one of our very first dates. Sigh, memories. Anyway here's another not-technically-a-martini martini. 😉
Chai Martini, serves one
1.5 oz Godiva
In a shaker with ice, combine all ingredients. Shake and pour. Garnish with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a cinnamon stick. Enjoy!
Spiced Syrup
1 cup water
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cardamom
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
In a small pot, combine all ingredients and simmer until sugar in completely dissolved. This can be stored in an airtight container (like a jar) for several weeks without refrigeration.xo! Elsie

What an interesting martini recipe! I’m not usually a fan of creamy/sweet martini drinks, but this seems delightful! Chai can be so delicious to drink so I only imagine this to be so tasty as well! Thanks for the recipe!
