Peach Margarita

Peach Margarita Recipe (perfect for a back porch party!) www.abeautifulmess.comMargaritas are always a hit at summertime parties! I love this fresh peach version because it's light and fruity and fresher than something made with a mix. Once you start making fruit purees for your margaritas you just might get addicted. It's so good!

Peach Margarita Recipe (perfect for a back porch party!) www.abeautifulmess.com Peach Margarita, makes one.

1/2 cup peach puree
1 lime
1.5 ounces tequila (1800 Silver)
1/5 ounces triple sec
1 tablespoon simple syrup (or more to taste)
sea salt and a peach slice to garnish

First skin and puree two (white) peaches. This should yield enough peach puree. Combine the puree, lime juice, tequila, triple sec and simple syrup. Stir to combine. Rim your glass by placing the rim in a shallow amount of water and then dipping it into coarse sea salt. Add ice and pour the mixed drink over ice. Garnish with a peach slice.

  • I’m actually not a big margarita fan (blame the roommates insisting on too many tequila shots – I can’t separate the experience from the taste), but I’m REALLY hoping that this redeems the drink for me! I’m a sucker for anything peach, so fingers crossed 😉

  • This looks so good! I love making margaritas at home. I don’t like using the mixes from the store though – they’re just full of unnecessary sweeteners. I haven’t tried using peaches though – that would be super tasty. Next cocktail hour, I know what I’ll be making!

  • I love peaches!!! I will defiantly be trying this recipe for a party soon.

  • It is the middle of winter here in Queensland, Australia, and I would do anything for a juicy summer peach right now. This sounds amazing.

  • Always up for a good margarita and this looks to die for! Will be picking up extra peaches on the way to the lake for this concoction. Thanks!

  • Oh man, I just made a margarita using nectarine puree. SO GOOD! Wish it was stone fruit season forever.

  • I love Margaritas, anything with lime is good with me. But this peach once sounds delicious
