Air Fryer Cauliflower

Crispy and flavorful cauliflower - a great side dish

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • teaspoon cayenne
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare the head of cauliflower by cutting off the bottom stem with any leaves that remain. 
  • Then, cut into bite-size florets.
  • In a small bowl, toss the cauliflower in the oil, spices, salt and pepper.
  • Air fry at 390°F for 15 minutes.
  • Halfway through the time (7 or 8 minutes is fine), pause the air fryer and give the basket a good toss so the cauliflower pieces get tossed around.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

  • It’s best not to overcrowd the air fryer pan if possible. One medium to small head of cauliflower should fit in most air fryer baskets just fine. I have an air fryer with two baskets so I can air fry two heads of cauliflower at once.
  • If cayenne just isn’t your thing or you want to make this less spicy (heat), you can swap it for paprika or another spice you prefer.
  • Toss a little grated Parmesan cheese over this just as it comes out of the air fryer and is still hot. It’s so good!
