Equipment

  • lime squeezer

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Vodka
  • 6 ounces Ginger Beer
  • 1 half Lime

Instructions

  • In a copper mug or glass with ice, add 2 ounces vodka.
  • Juice half a lime into the mug and add in the lime shell when done.
  • Top off the drink with 6 ounces of ginger beer.
  • Garnish with a lime slice and serve!

Notes

  • Choosing a brand or type of alcohol for your Moscow Mule is mostly a preference-based decision, but if you want to be the most authentic, you can choose Smirnoff brand vodka as that’s what was used in the original concoction.
  • For a nonalcoholic Moscow Mule, simply leave out the vodka and fill the glass with ginger beer and lime over ice, or you can add a nonalcoholic vodka in its place.
