In a double old-fashioned glass filled with ice, pour vodka and coffee liqueur.
Next, add a splash of Coke to top it, leaving just a little room at the top for cream.
Last, add a splash of cream. This drink will eventually mix into a light latte colored brown, but I like to serve it with the cream floating at the top. Garnish with a cherry!
Notes
Many recipes call for adding the cola last, but I find it to be a more beautiful presentation to add to cream last (just as you would on a White Russian).
If you want to add a flavorful twist, you can swap the vodka for cherry flavored vodka or vanilla vodka.
If you want to make this recipe into a dessert, swap out the heavy cream for a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Kind of similar to an Affogato. It's a sweet cocktail that reminds me of a root beer float.
If you swap the vodka for tequila, you'll have a Colorado Mother cocktail.
