Own Salad Dressings 3Own Salad Dressings 4Have fun making you own fresh batch of salad dressings! XO. Emma + Elsie

  • I will have to try these. I have been making my own balsamic vinaigrette for ages! I love the fresh taste of homemade dressings versus store bought 🙂

    Great recipes as always!

  • I don’t know what I love more – these recipes or your pictures! Loving the spoons… you’re so creative and pay great attention to detail!

  • Making salad dressing is so easy, and such a great way to use ingredients you may already have. Extra basil from that pasta recipe? Throw it in!

  • mmmm these are the kind of recipes that I love!!
nothing like a salad with a good dressing…ok time to eat I’m hungry, I think that for today I’ll make the honey mustard!

  • I’ve always stuck with the same salad dressing recipe but I really want to try these ones now, especially the cilantro-lime one. Sounds yummy

  • Want to try the lime cilantro dressing. Hubby makes our ‘go to’ dressing, raspberry vinaigrette. Will be nice to switch it up a bit.

  • The cilantro-lime looks great for a salad with black beans and corn in it!

I think normally vinaigrette’s normally have vinegar in them though, right? o.O

  • Please tell me I’m the only one that didn’t know that honey mustard was actually made with honey and mustard…

  • Yum! I am going to have to try this out, I make my own ranch because I don’t like store bought but I’ve usually stuck to buying other dressings I know I like. I love the cilantro idea! I’m trying that for dinner! Thanks for the great ideas!

  • I’m one of those people who can’t stand Cilantro (corriander)……it makes me die a little inside. But I love honey and mustard vinegrette so I’m definetly gonna try that one out.

  • Delicious! I love homemade caesar – garlic, worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, coddled egg, freshly ground pepper.

  • The first photo has a typo in cilantro :/ Not sure if that’s fixable but I wanted to point it out in case you didn’t already know!

    Cheers!

  • Cilantro lime, get in my belly! I usually make my own dressings — my go-to is balsamic vinegar, a decent olive oil, a little finely-chopped garlic, a sprinkle of pepper and a squirt of honey. Delish!

  • Hi Elsie! Is there anyway to subscribe to your blog??? I can’t find the option anywhere!

  • Tried this straight away and is perfect!! Thanks so much! Love love love! 🙂 xxx

  • oohh my goodness!! these are so amazing and simple! and some of the veggies and herbs you could get straight from a garden <3 <3 absolutely amazing.

  • I always make my own salad dressings – they’re so quick and easy to do.

Erm, Rose, I think you could possibly be the only one 😉

    Emma xx

  • just made the honey mustard and let me say…DELISH! thanks for the recipes!!

  • I love to make my own dressing! I usually make vinegarettes, but I have lots of buttermilk left over from the cupcakes I made last night so I will definitely be making ranch mmm. thanks for the inspiration!

  • Thanks for sharing very nice and delicious recipe. The ingredients are very good for health. I always make salad dressings at home and i am very good at it.

  • The only issue I always have with homemade salad dressing is the two-week limit. I don’t eat THAT much salad in two weeks that I’d use the whole bottle! And if I do eat enough salad to finish a bottle, I really like to mix up my salads and will hardly ever use the same dressing twice in a row!

  • OMG, my parents had that silverware when I was young! Can’t wait to try your honey mustard and ranch recipes and explore your blog more!

  • The Ranch was fabulous! Thank you – now I only have one question – where can we find those beautiful jars?

  • plepore Posted on thank you very much. your video was extremely heulpfl. Do you have instructions on how to set up the wireless lan too? The wired lan is working but for some reason having issues with wireless. Thank you so much.

  • Thank you dear friends,Yes Mimi, I did the pohtosohot for her ceremony and took all the portraits myself with very little editing. Thanks for the HUGE compliment!!And yes, Tammy, the book has been ordered and is veiwable online for distant guests to add a few words if they are given the password, but it’s also coming in the mail in hardback. The portraits are already laid out in the fashion that I put them and the guests will sign the guestbook on the page next to it. Thanks. For their official ceremony book they’re paying me to put together a ‘Press Album’, which is similar to a childs/baby’s boardbook, where every single page in the album is on a very hardstock mounted cardboard like photo paper that doesn’t bend. It’s super elegant and is used for perserving major ceremonies like Weddings, Graduations, and Quinceaf1era’s. I won’t begin the work layout on the press album until after the ceremony next weekend but I’m anxious for the guestbook to arrive which should be at the end of this week sometime. Thanks again ladies for your input and wish me prayers!!Blessings,~Sarah

  • The guestbook is very well done. Both my son’s are airtst’s and photographers. One of my son’s is a graphic airtst. I know quality when I see it. This is high quality. You have a gift from God. It’s so good to see you are using it. And using it well. God bless and thanks for joining me at Daily Grace.

  • Can you please tell me where you got the dressing jars (with lids)? I have been looking for these! Thanks.
