Thai Tea with Boba

And almost always it's topped with sweetened condensed milk. These are flavors that I probably would never have thought to pair together. 5-6 quarts water 
2 cold brew black tea bags (I used Lipton)
5 star anise
1/4 cup brown sugar

Combine the water and cold brew tea bags for 3-4 minutes (according to your packages directions). Remove and stir in the brown sugar until dissolved. Add the star anise and refrigerate for 1 hour. Ice thai recipe www.abeautifulmess.com In a glass add a heaping spoonful of prepared boba, if using. Fill the glass with ice. Pour in the ice.
