Margaritas are always a hit at summertime parties! These fresh peach margaritas are made with tequila, fresh peach purée, lime juice, orange liqueur and agave. Making fruit purees for your margaritas is a game changer! The flavors of fresh peach and lime work so well together.

Ingredients in Peach Margaritas
- Silver Tequila or blanco tequila.
- Peach Puree See our easy recipe below.
- Lime Juice freshly squeezed is best for margaritas.
- Orange Liqueur such as Triple Sec, Grand Marnier or Cointreau.
- Agave Syrup or simple syrup or honey syrup.
- Margarita Salt for the rim.
The best glassware to serve an on the rocks margarita in is a double old fashioned glass. You can see in these photos I used a mason jar (which is slightly bigger) so if you want to use a mason jar just use a bit more ice. I also recommend a handheld citrus squeezer, a measuring shot glass (I use this for nearly every cocktail I make) and a cocktail shaker.
How to make a Peach Margarita
Begin by prepping the rim of your glass with coarse salt or margarita salt.
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine your tequila, peach puree, lime juice, orange liqueur and agave.
Shake for 10-15 seconds. Strain and pour into a glass with fresh ice.
Garnish with a fresh peach slice and a lime wedge.
Fresh Peach Purée Instructions
Making peach purée is super simple! You will need about one peach per margarita. Blend them in a food processor or blender until puréed. You don’t need any other ingredients (no sugar, no water) just peaches. I did not remove the skins of my peaches, but you can if you prefer to.
Tips for Making
- Frozen Peaches– If you’re making these in winter (or peaches are not in season) you can make the purée with thawed frozen peaches.
- Stone Fruit Margaritas– You can make this recipe with any stone fruit including plums, cherries, nectarines or apricots.
- Secret Ingredient– The secret ingredient in any margarita recipe is always fresh lime juice. It brings the recipe to life. Never use bottled lime juice, fresh is so worth it. The other secret ingredient many people swear by is a splash of fresh orange juice.
