  • Phoebe, no my glasses do not have lenses. I just got them at a flea market last week. Since I don’t wear prescription glasses I probably will just leave them that way. No, I wouldn’t wear them out on a date or anything without lenses, but for photos I think they are fun!

For those of you requesting photos of our grandma and the cabin, check both our personal blogs (links at the top of the page!) we blogged a bunch more there.

    XO.

  • It’s so awesome that you two can draw so much inspiration from your grandma 🙂

  • If you love twee mountain style, check out Alpenrauch. Their take on old fashioned Swiss cliché with a modern twist has helped me embrace the charm of Alpine life I’ve been living in for over a year. Finding fashion in such a rugged, isolated place can be a challenge. I love your take on the cabin-romance! Thanks for the inspiration.

  • Ah! Emma’s sweater! Really lovely pictures. Would love to see more of the cabin!

  • Wow. Thank you so much for such a sweet look at your family. Beautiful.

  • What an awesome cabin! It looks so cabin-y (ha!) with the wood logs. Love it. You girls look adorable. Sounds like a perfect little getaway

  • these shots were really beautiful and I loved Emma’s sweater its really nifty and sooooo adorable!!! Elsie I love your glasses and I was wondering if they had any glass in them or if they were empty, because I have two frames that my great grandma had and they are awesome and glassless. So really what I’m asking is do you think its OK to wear them even though there just empty frames???? thanks xx

  • Aren’t cabins the greatest? Being at a cabin, away from everything and up in nature, just makes you feel so alive.
