25 Easy DIY Gift Ideas For Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is less than a week away! If you don’t have a gift yet, no worries—we’re sharing a roundup of easy DIY’s that you can whip up before the weekend.

This clay planter just screams happy. And, it’s incredibly easy to make—the hardest part is deciding which colors to use. 🙂

Treat your mom to a relaxing bubble bath with … bubble bath bars!  We recommend putting them in acrylic canisters—they’re just too pretty not to be displayed! If you mom loves jewelry but needs a special spot for it, make her this earring holder. The bottom is made with marble contact paper to keep things budget-friendly. So cute!

Candles make great gifts for any occasion—especially Mother’s Day. We have a couple kinds to choose from, like beeswax (they have a light honey scent) and soy candles (you can add your own essential oils).

Sweet dreams! Make her a lavender pillow mist that she’s sure to love.

We shared a way to organize earrings, but what about rings? This clay palm leaf dish is a breeze to make.

Gift her a set of recipe cards. These are free and can be printed at home! Does she have some favorite recipes that you make? You could fill out the cards and put them in a cute recipe box.

Monogrammed gifts are always extra special. Click here to see how easy it is to make personalized luggage tags (they can be used as keychains, too.)

Pineapple oven mitts—equal parts adorable and functional.

If she loves plants, make her a brass ring hanging planter. You can add real or faux plants to them (we won’t tell!)

Bath bombs are always a fun gift idea. We have several DIY’s on the blog, like the one above (rainbow with gold lustre–oooh!) and green tea and lemon (made with real green tea!)

We’re partial to cake, but you can add any phrase to this no-sew kitchen towel.

Simple, delicate pearl earrings.

Make a batch of gemstone soap. Aren’t these amazing? If she loves citrus, you could make this grapefruit poppyseed blend instead. Mmm!

How special is this swinging heart photo locket? We love this twist on a traditional locket necklace.

Speaking of photos, you could make a vertical photo display and fill it with photos your mom would love.

Another option is to find an old frame at a thrift store and repurpose it like Emma did here.

This pink sugar body scrub is a “dupe” of a popular brand, and we can’t get enough! Make some for your mom and yourself.

You could make her a set of Terrazzo cheese knives (and then invite yourself over for cheese and wine, of course) 😉

Another kitchen related gift—beeswax food wraps. We love using these reusable (and environmentally-friendly) wraps for leftovers.

Don’t forget a card! We created two designs to choose from, and they can be printed at home. Easy peasy.

Have a happy Mother’s Day! xo. The ABM Team
